marco

In class we had workshop on macro photography. We had to take two photos one at half size and one at 1:1. The photo had to be taken with two different cameras so we used a hasselblad and a canon 50D. The 1:1 means that from where the photo is taken and it is measured from corner to corner that is how big the sensor is. In the workshop we were also given equations such as
I
m =-- (for magnification)
O

v= (m+1) f (extension tubes)

(taken with my 50D and 100mm marco lens this is 1:1)
